Happy June!

Summer is upon us, and with it comes a season of water fueled fun. Let's take a look at the big water news from the past week!

Our favorite piece from this week wasn't about water expressly, but does take a really great look at the issues around it. The Verge did a deep dive on some of Coca-Cola's marketing practices surrounding their promises on water and largely, they don't hold up.

Ultimately, with water such an increasingly important topic, corporations are flocking to it for their own good, but they're clouding out alot in the process._

Access to safe drinking watar is at the top of the docket around the country. In response to a crisis in California, some of the state's top officials have some things to say about it.

With access to reliable water sources an increasing issue, California is looking to adress another of it's water problems. New legislation signed by Governer Jerry Brown looks to address that issue by imposing new usage restrictions.
